Allows a user to set an item to 'partly used' or 'opened' It will then inform the user how best to store that item and for how long they can keep it (and will alert them when it is past it's best or has expired).
If an item is partly used it will be removed from the inventory but a bracket will be added to say that there is one in circulation.
e.g.
Garlic : 5 heads remaining (+1 in use)
Tomato Puree: 2 tubes remaining ( +1 open in the fridge which will expire in 3 weeks)
