[FEATURE] Handle Markdown and truncation in catalog description card.

Catalog descriptions sometimes use Markdown and can be long. We want to both parse the Markdown and truncate it as well with an ellipsis and a [ read more ]. This card is to investigate how we can do that and make sure we’re not cutting off the markdown string in the middle of a special syntax.
