hi,
i really like your approach of calculating the correct gps readings and sensor values and when i tested the module, the basics functions do work really well ( if there is a gps signal), great work!
What do you think about those enhancements:
- simulating some gps values that should be legit even when no gps is found: mock some (changing) sats that are theoretical in view for the current position - with some added random deviation on accuracy and numbers/ids of sats in use. This would allow to use the app even when gps reception breaks down indoor
- Auto walk! Switch between current and auto walk mode e.g. when long pressing in the center position. Auto walk should walk into the direction and speed the user drags the joystick to (no snapping back to center) and add a percentage of deviation for speed and direction (two numeric percentage values in settings)
- Increase max allowed speed so something configurable (settings)
- make the joystick movable on the screen
- somehow make the map fonts bigger, on a fullhd 5.5" phone the map is unreadable
would be awesome if some of the issues could be tackled!
