Discussion: Toolbox Julia Console and Consoles in General

So I've started using the workflow functionalities of the toolbox a little to get access to filtering tools etc.

I should start by saying the below is relatively low priority and possibly a matter of preference. What we have now is excellent and perfectly functional. But maybe over the longer term, do people feel there is scope to improve how consoles and output are managed? Some discussion points below:

• Can the background of the Julia console (or the Python console for that matter) be changed to black with white text? Perhaps we could customize our consoles?
• Can IJulia be configured to give colour output similar to the REPL. A very cosmetic issue - but it does impact the look and feel of the console.
• The console section is very crowded with the following:
  • Process log, Event log, Julia Console and Python console and sometimes, the tool properties pane
  • I wonder do we want to, instead, or in addition, support tabbed consoles rather than spreading them out horizontally?
  • I wonder do we want to support arbitrary consoles similar to editors such as VS code/atom etc. Perhaps there is no point reinventing the wheel. I wonder is there someway of linking to a console within Atom/VS Code or other editors.
  • Do the process and event logs need to be distinct? Could they be combined or tabbed?

Just some thoughts for discussion really.

You need to install the dev requirements to build the help I believe. Is there a way we can have the user guide available to regular users?

Also, Event log shows the link the first time you open Toolbox.

All links now open the User Guide on read-the-docs instead of trying to open them from docs\build
