Dear Spirit developers and users,
I’m currently trying to simulate the Skyrmion Hall effect using the Spirit framework. My goal is to create an isolated skyrmion in a reasonably large simulation region and then apply an external current to drive its motion.
I would like to ask:
1. What is the best way to initialize a single skyrmion in a system (in my case, it is a AFM anti-skyrmion)? Should I directly construct a spin configuration with a skyrmion at the center, or is there a better method using built-in functions or transitions?
2. Once the current is applied, does Spirit evolve the system using the spin dynamics equations (e.g., LLG with spin torque)? If so, will the isolated skyrmion relax again or change its structure significantly during evolution?
