How to add keywords to the blocklist

I have some new keywords to be added as blocklist keywords. Is there some application to check for those keywords and if not, then added ? Thanks

The best way to do this is to fork this repository and add your new keywords to your copy of the blocklist.

Using a text editor that has some type of “sort and remove duplicates” functionality (such as BBEdit or Atom will help locate similar keywords. You could also search the contents of the blocklist for your new keywords, add the ones that aren’t included, and then submit those changes through GitHub as a pull request.

If that method is more complicated than you’d like, post the list of keywords here and I can evaluate them for inclusion in the blocklist.

Because submitting every new phrase via pull request seems somewhat inefficient.

We have received multiple submissions on a site using this blocklist with keywords like these:
albenza over the counter
generic albendazole
albendazole
albendazole price
buy albendazole on line

By and large a single blocklisted word would get these barring the ones where they have intentionally mangled the word.

I’ve just added several variations of these phrases to the blocklist that cover both the “albendazole” and “albenza” variants.

In addition, it would be swell if the plugin retained manually added blocklist words like this one did: https://github.com/norcross/comment-blacklist-manager

There are some that I would not want on a network of sites I manage, but that someone else may be open to. Like app developer pitches. Web redesign pitches. Guest article submission requests. Cryptocurrency, and on and on.

I have had to add new ones, but when this plugin updates the list, it does not retain manually added ones. This is allowing quite a bit of nontypical spam through.

Is there a reason you’re not using the @norcross plugin?
