Add deploymentserver and heavyforwarder as their own CRD (even UF as a relay tier). All server types would then be managed the same. This would also allow splunk-operator to add the these sever types to the monitoring console.

Maybe you can consider differentiating between intermediate heavyforwarders, which separates the parsing queue from the indexers and a regular heavyforwarder which can be used for collecting data from other sources like database connections (dbconnect)
