As for me, i can promise that none of the money i get via GitHub sponsors will be used as a "salary", just to pay for subscriptions, infrastructure, domains, and other things related to my open source work.

As soon as I surpass the amount i actually need for an entire year, the rest will be given to non profits (mostly jw.org, but can go to other such as the FSF, WWF, Wikimedia, GNU, etc... if i really get a lot more than needed). You may email me if want to know more on that.
