Hi, I'm Balaji! I'm a third-year computer science student who is curious about open-source and gradually becoming a part of it and building community, online & offline. I enjoy coding, reading open-source codebases, and books, there's so much to learn from how others solve problems. For my career, I'm focused on backend and cloud-native development, and I'm excited to contribute meaningfully to projects in that space.

Apart from studies, I volunteer as a teacher at Praise Garden Church, where I teach Bible stories to kids.

Supporting me on GitHub supports my ongoing efforts to create free educational content on backend and CLI development, and helps me afford a better laptop for open-source contributions. I'm currently using a Lenovo E325 from the 2012 government laptop scheme (inherited from my cousin), it's a nightmare for developers. I literally have to close my code editor just to open a browser and create PRs. Read more about this journey.
