Hey, I'm Chris 👋

I'm a full-stack software developer from South Wales, UK. I've worked in the industry for over 15 years and am looking forward to giving back more to the open source community.

Ruby on Rails has always been my main passion, but I've also worked extensively with React & React Native, as well as various other flavours of Javascript frameworks and Typescript, dabbled with Swift & Swift UI, and pieced them all together with GraphQL, REST, or whatever weird and wonderful technologies were required.

Over the years I've worked with agencies, startups, SaaS products, government projects, and more. Outside of my day job I'm currently building Wrozee, a feature rich CRM for lifestyle and weightloss coaches.

In the free time I have left (which is limited with a young family) I'm trying to give back to the open source community. I've sporadically contributed little bits across various projects over the years, but I'm currently working on ViewComponent-ScopedStyles - which provides scoped, colocated CSS for the wonderful ViewComponent gem. Scoped CSS (or CSS modules) are not well represented outside of the front end world, so this was my opportunity to fill a gap, and have fun learning along the way.
