I'm Serge. I maintain open source WPSettings Framework that allows you to add awesome option screens to WordPress admin helping you and other developers to create better plugins faster.

The idea

The idea behind WPSettings framework is simple:

Simplify working with WordPress Settings API to make the creation of option screens in WP admin as fast and easy as possible.

Even if I have extended experience with WordPress, I'm always the first one to use this framework for all of my WordPress projects requiring admin screens, because the code is light, straightforward and saves me (and you) tons of time while being as close to WP standards as possible to keep up with it on a long run.

Why coding "another WP settings framework"?

Well, first of all, I needed it in most of my projects.

Then, when I looked at what is available out there - I did not like any of those because of:

• The way they approach the WordPress standards
• The bloated code
• The way they store options in database
• The way they want you to interact with them (frameworks are supposed to simplify your work, not complicate)
• Their flexibility (or to be more precise: the way they pretend to be flexible)

Whom is the code for?

Any developer who needs to create an option screen in WordPress admin area and does not want to spend extra time doing so (or learning doing so).

Especially this thing is useful when WordPress is not your primary occupation.
