Only shows when springboot app runs

I created VSCode profiles for the different languages and frameworks, the Spring Boot extension icon only shows when I run my application

Can you explain the issue on more detail? What exactly only shows up when you run an application?

With regards to the profiles, please note that there is already a profile available for Java + Spring, which contains all the necessary and useful extensions for this combination, so I am not sure why you would want to define another profile for this combination.
