My house has a limit on how much energy I can import from the grid at any given time. This hasn't been a problem so far but I'm afraid it might become once I start charging an EV at home. I'm wondering if there is a setting that I might have missed that either sets this limit or else configure predbat to not charge the EV and the house's battery at the same time. |

No sorry there isn't. Predbat will plan charging of both the car and the EV in the cheapest slots, which quite often will be the same times. The only workaround really would be to set your EV charging and battery charging to lower rates to avoid exceeding your import limit. You can turn low rate charging on so the battery charges at the lowest rate it can to meet the plan, and limit your car charging rate input_number.predbat_car_charging_rate |
