Predbat doesn't discharge home battery during high rate export period #3968

Two things. What mode do you have Predbat set to? If it's set to Monitor mode then it won't set any charge or discharge activity. You need to set it to control charge and discharge and turn read only on so it can't actually change the inverter settings. Your energy tariff. You cannot be on Intelligent Go alongside Octopus Flux. Flux is a combined import AND export tariff, you can't have one half without the other. My guess is you were on Flux for import and export and moved to Octopus Intelligent Go. Octopus didn't remember to change the export when you moved. This happens quite often, it happened to me when I moved from Flux to Agile. About 6 months later Octopus noticed and rebilled me for all the export at the fixed 15p rate. It's in the Flux terms and conditions. |

Hi everyone
I've had Predbat running for about 2 weeks, so I'm very new to this. I have been monitoring closely, and everything appears to be working well, although I'm aware there is more to do to fully optimise.
My question is, why doesn't Predbat ever set my home battery to discharge during the high rate export period (see image below)? Am I missing something? All the rates and timings are correct in the plan, but the high rate export period is always skipped, and my batteries are often fully charged at that time of day (4pm to 7pm).
My setup is as follows:
Import: Octopus Intelligent Go
Export: Octopus Flux
16 x Aiko solar panels 7.7Kw
SolaX X1-IES Inverter 6Kw
2 x 5Kw SolaX THS50E batteries
Hypervolt Home 3 Pro EV charger
Mercedes EQA 70Kw
I have searched the forum for similar posts, but not come across the same question.
Thanks for any help and advice given.
