Remix icons licensing policy issue with Fedora

The license status for Remix icons is unclear:
Remix-Design/RemixIcon#430
It can not at present be included in Fedora:
https://gitlab.com/fedora/legal/fedora-license-data/-/issues/669
While the licensing is resolved, would it be possible to have a build without Remix icons?

Hi @bkmgit thank you for the info! Not totally sure if having a build without Remix icons would be possible for the moment but checking https://gitlab.com/fedora/legal/fedora-license-data/-/issues/669 seems like fonts are one of the exceptions for the license policy followed by Fedora, right? (https://gitlab.com/fedora/legal/fedora-license-data/-/issues/669#note_2626689221):

Fedora legal policy is that any component of a package must be redistributable in isolation - "bundling" requirements are not allowed in licenses. The one major exception to this is with font licenses, which is present for historical reasons, basically.

Technically we bundle here the font related with the Remix icons (https://github.com/spyder-ide/qtawesome/blob/master/qtawesome/fonts/remixicon-2.5.0.ttf). Does that help in any way? 🤔

If that doesn't help maybe when packaging QtAwesome for Fedora someone would need to patch the source code by removing the Remix icons related font and chartmap files and prefix registry? Maybe we could provided some inline comments to make this process easier? 🤔

Also, what do you think @ccordoba12 ?

The font is not under OFL or similar license, so seems to have same licensing ambiguity as the source svg library.
