What steps will reproduce the problem?

hello
i upgraded spyder and all has been broken, ipyhon console doenst work anymore , if i start form anaocnda destkop i tstarts and but ipyhon consoel doenst show up nothing

If you want a more stable and reliable version, we recommend you to use our Windows installer, which you can download from here).

Our installer comes with a separate Python version than the one used by Anaconda. So, you shouldn't have problems when using the IPython console with it.

After you let us know that things are working fine with the installer, I can guide you to use the packages you have in Anaconda from it.

@dalthviz, could you check if you're seeing the same issues when creating an env with Spyder and Python 3.14 using the defaults channel?

Created a new env using the defaults channel with Python 3.14 and Spyder (6.1.3 was installed) and I was unable to see the issues mentioned above. When starting Spyder from the created env I can see the IPython Console working. Checked by launching Spyder from the Anaconda Prompt as well as Anaconda Navigator:
