Unable to use Sqitch docker

Hello,

I have pulled Sqitch docker repository from the https://github.com/sqitchers/docker-sqitch and rebuild for snowflake as per the given instructions on https://github.com/sqitchers/docker-sqitch/tree/main/snowflake

Currently, I am following this tutorial at https://sqitch.org/docs/manual/sqitchtutorial-snowflake/.

I haven't found any document for how to use rebuild docker image for Sqitch. Could you please guide me?

I have tried my self to create new project but I am getting error and warning while using it.

I am using Sqitch from my rebuild repository and getting below error :

../docker-sqitch/sqitch  deploy 'db:snowflake://myusername@snowflakeaccout/database?Driver=Snowflake;warehouse=my_warehouse_name'
WARNING: The requested image's platform (linux/amd64) does not match the detected host platform (linux/arm64/v8) and no specific platform was requested
DBD::ODBC 1.59 required to manage Snowflake

Could you please help me on this?

The WARNING is harmless. If you built a new docker image with the Snowflake support, you need to use that image, not the default image. Are you setting env SQITCH_IMAGE=sqitch/sqitch:snowflake?

Yes, I have set env SQITCH_IMAGE=sqitch/sqitch:snowflake
I don't know how to use the newly built docker image for the snowflake. Also, I have found proper documentation/guide for docker image usage for snowflake.
Could you please guide me?

I am getting the below error when trying to rebuild the image with the tag.
docker build command :
docker-sqitch % docker build -t sqitch/sqitch:snowflake .

Error :

When I directly build an image using the below command I am not getting any error but I don't know how to use it to build an image.

Can you send the complete output of all you're doing? Because there is no error message in that example, unfortunately.

I have applied some changes in docker-sqitch.sh and after that I have fixed some error now I getting different error when deploy. Actually it is not displaying any error but it is stuck when adding registry.

Command :

../docker-sqitch.sh deploy 'db:snowflake://username@accountname/SQITCH_DEV?Driver=Snowflake;warehouse=sqitch'

Output:

WARNING: The requested image's platform (linux/amd64) does not match the detected host platform (linux/arm64/v8) and no specific platform was requested

Adding registry tables to db:snowflake://username@accountname/SQITCH_DEV?Driver=Snowflake;warehouse=sqitch

So it stuck in adding registry and not displaying anything after that.

Hrm. I've seen it get stuck on adding the registry before, but I can't recall what the issue was. Maybe try a fully-qualified domain name in the URL as described here. Also, if you have any special characters in your username or password they will need to be URL encoded.
