Grid Card icons not displayed

Hi all,

I'm following the official documentation regarding grids (https://squidfunk.github.io/mkdocs-material/reference/grids/), running Material for MkDocs in a Docker container.

I've added attr_list and md_in_html to my markdown_extensions in mkdocs.yml. When copy-pasting the examples from the official documentation, the icons are not displayed, simply the text that should make them appear.

For example, when I paste this piece of code from the documentation:

- :fontawesome-brands-html5: __HTML__ for content and structure
- :fontawesome-brands-js: __JavaScript__ for interactivity
- :fontawesome-brands-css3: __CSS__ for text running out of boxes
- :fontawesome-brands-internet-explorer: __Internet Explorer__ ... huh?

I expect to see the four respective icons, but this is the result:

Does anyone have a clue what's going on?

Thank you! That was indeed missing. I tried adding that markdown extension before, but it would generate error messages in my container log. Perhaps the indentation was off.

I don’t think the documentation is very explicit on this requirement either. If you don’t first read about the use of emoji’s, you won’t really know that you need to enable the emoji markdown extension. But that could just be me though ;-)
