extension maturity progression

Hello! We are interested in using this STAC extension in a STAC catalog we are building in the USGS Water Mission Area. I see that this is just a proposal right now and that it hasn't been worked on in a few months. Are there any plans to progress this extension's maturity?

The main way we progress maturity is by having people use it and validate that it works well, or that it needs some improvement. So it'd be great if you adopted it and gave any feedback (even just to say 'it worked well and met our needs), and did anything to promote it to others, and then it could easily advance maturity.
