Feature request: tutorial for newbies

I use SN every day, and I just realized that there is notification icon where I can see responses to my posts and comments. I was literally creating issue for that.

I think it could be helpful to have a tutorial for first-time users, go over key features: "here is where you find notification with new responses to your posts", "here is where you can post new comments" (yes, I remember it took me a while to find the "post" button)

Or maybe spread it across few months, show just the most important feature at the beginning and later, if the user never used notifications, show them tutorial/heads up, "hey, here is notifications, you probably didn't know about it".
