pane-border-format only renders when pane-border-status is on. The mirror at tmux/linux/.tmux.conf already sets this, but the actual chezmoi-deployed template never did, so the amux status added in a4bed70 is silently inert on the deployed config. Summary
amuxpane-title integration added ina4bed70/12d3926(2026-07-31) relies onpane-border-format, which tmux only renders whenpane-border-statusis enabled.tmux/linux/.tmux.confalready hadpane-border-status topset (unrelated, pre-existing line). The actual chezmoi-deployed source,home-chezmoi/dot_tmux.conf.tmpl, never set it — so the new amux status is currently a silent no-op on the machine that deploys via chezmoi.set -g pane-border-status topto the chezmoi template right above theamuxblock, so pane borders (and the amux status text) actually render.Scope
home-chezmoi/dot_tmux.conf.tmplonly, 2 lines added.Fixes #144
Test plan
chezmoi apply(or manually diff-check) and confirmtmuxshows pane border titles with amux status whenamuxis installed, matching behavior already present via thetmux/linux/.tmux.confmirror.Generated by Claude Code
