scene filename parser improvement

Is there a reason we can't have the filename parser add new performers?

I have material downloaded in the same filename structure for everything /{performer}/{performer} ({date}) - {tag} . It would save me a ton of time to not have to manually add performers.

Auto tag should work for your use case.

Unfortunately thats not going to work: "Auto tag only works for names that already exist in your Stash database."

I don't understand why these automated processes can create new tags and other metadata but cannot create new performers.
