title Oracle Providers
description Explore on-chain data and prices feeds using oracles.

Oracles exist on the Stellar network to bring off-chain data onto the blockchain. For example, a popular use-case of oracles is the inclusion of token pricing into smart contract logic. Since a smart contract can't access data from outside the Stellar network, oracles provide a means by which the data can be accessed on-chain.

RedStone is a modular oracle that secures billions in collateral across 200+ protocols on 110+ chains, with a focus on real-world assets, yield-bearing tokens, and stablecoins. On Stellar, RedStone delivers price feeds for XLM, BTC, ETH, USDC, EURC, PYUSD, USDT0, USDe, and a growing set of tokenized RWAs including Franklin Templeton's BENJI, Etherfuse's CETES, USTRY, and TESOURO, Ondo's USDY, Centrifuge's deJTRSY and deJAAA, and Solv's SolvBTC.

RedStone on Stellar uses a Push model. Off-chain relayers write signed, multi-source aggregated prices to on-chain contracts built in Rust on Soroban whenever a feed moves beyond its deviation threshold (0.01% to 0.5%, depending on the asset), or at least once per heartbeat (typically 12 or 24 hours) during quiet markets. Freshness is enforced at read time, so consuming contracts do not need their own staleness checks. Feeds are available two ways:

  • A single SEP-40-compliant contract that serves all supported assets through the standard lastprice, price, and prices interface. Protocols already integrated with a SEP-40 oracle can add RedStone without changing their contract logic.
  • Dedicated per-asset price feed contracts (MultiFeed), each storing the latest value, timestamp, and metadata for one feed.

The Stellar contracts were audited by Veridise and Zellic, and the code is open source in the stellar-connector package, which also ships a TypeScript client. Consuming contracts written in Rust can use the RedStone Rust SDK.

To integrate, see the RedStone Stellar documentation, including the Rust tutorial and TypeScript tutorial.

The Reflector oracle protocol is a combination of specialized smart contracts and peer-to-peer consensus of data provider nodes maintained by trusted Stellar ecosystem organizations. Feeds include on-chain and off-chain asset prices, CEX & DEX exchange rates, foreign exchange rates, etc. Reflector nodes process, normalize, aggregate, and store trades information from Stellar Classic DEX, Soroban protocols, as well as external sources.

Publicly availble free price oracles are compatible with SEP40 ecosystem standard interface. Learn how to integrate Reflector feeds in their documentation.

Reflector Subscriptions provide a service for user-defined customized triggers invoked automatically once the price change for a specified symbol reaches a certain threshold. When the condition is met, cluster nodes simultaneously push a notification to the WebHook URL provided in the subscription and publish an on-chain proof of the triggered event.

Band is a cross-chain data oracle aggregating and connecting real-world data and APIs to smart contracts.

The protocol is built on top of BandChain, a Cosmos-SDK-based blockchain designed to be compatible with most smart contract and blockchain development frameworks.

The network is designed to modularize and offload the task of constatly monitoring price data and react to price changes across all asset classes from the smart contract platforms onto itself. This not only prevents such tasks from congesting or causing high transaction fees on the destination network, but the same data points can be packaged, used, and verified efficiently across multiple blockchains.

DIA is a cross-chain, trustless oracle network that delivers verifiable price feeds. dApps on Stellar can consume these feeds from DIA's deployed contracts. DIA sources raw trade data directly from primary markets and supplies aggregated values on-chain, ensuring transparency and data integrity.

Key Features

  • Complete verifiability from source to destination smart contract.
  • Direct data sourcing from 100+ primary markets eliminating intermediary risk.
  • Support for 20,000+ assets across all major asset classes.
  • Custom oracle configuration with tailored sources and methodologies.

Pyth delivers real-time market data published first-party by exchanges, market makers, and banks: 3,500+ feeds across crypto, equities, ETFs, FX, commodities, and fixed income (US Treasury yields and prices) via Pyth Pro, plus Pyth Indices for 24/7 pricing of assets whose underlying markets follow exchange hours.

Pyth on Stellar uses a pull model. Applications obtain signed price updates off-chain over WebSocket or REST, then verify them on-chain through a cross-contract call to Pyth's deployed verifier contract using the pyth-lazer-stellar-sdk crate. On-chain verification is permissionless; receiving the data feeds requires a subscription (a 14-day free trial is available). The Stellar contracts were audited by Zellic.

To integrate, see the Pyth Pro Stellar integration guide. For background on the launch, how the pull model works on Stellar, and steps to verify the mainnet deployment yourself, read Real-Time Prices for Stellar's $4B Tokenized Assets Economy on the Stellar blog.
