Feature request: Request iOS camera permission

Feature request: Can the author release a native APP for IOS, which is more friendly to IOS users, and at the same time can call AVFoundation to obtain more camera access rights, such as focal length, shutter speed, etc., which is very helpful for shooting high-quality details! I'll continue to improve the iOS app; I've made many improvements this year. It's very difficult to develop for iOS devices as Apple has many restrictions on what I can and cannot do, especially with respect to WebRTC, which is what VDO.Ninja uses.

Android devices have more customization support, and via Chrome on Android you can control shutter speed, exposure, white balance, Focus, and more settings.

On Android/Chrome , the exposureTime value is consider the same as shutter speed

I realize you might want a fixed frame rate and varied shutter speed; I don't have a specific shutter speed however -- what I do have is listed here: https://vdo.ninja/supports. You can perhaps set different exposure times and see if one meets your needs however by looking at the resulting recordings and frame rates.

If you're in a group room, the director might have control over the video settings for each guest instead.

I added exposure=1 to the parameters and it had a noticeable darkening effect, and I did have exposureTime and exposureCompensation in the settings

Hi there, I have been testing vdo.ninja on an iPhone 15 Pro and am also interested in being able to control camera settings. @steveseguin You mentioned above that on android you can control exposure/shutter speed and that iOS is difficult. Should I interpret this as a dead end for, say, using &exposure (or &exposureTime, both are mentioned in the docs) with an iPhone camera? Using screen sharing might be a work-around but unfortunately I couldn't get that running (it tries to start for 5 seconds and then gives up - I tried the tips to no avail). I ask because I saw/heard it mentioned somewhere that people had some success with an iPhone 15 Pro, as if to suggest it might just not have been explored yet. Thanks.

@snaggas You can currently tap on the screen, when using the iOS native app, and it will focus/expose on that area, and remain locked with that exposure/focus I believe.

There are no options in the web app, as iOS doens't support them there. Android does however how these options.

Adding additional options and more fine-grain control is likely something I'll work on adding the next time I spend a week updating the app.

Thanks. As far as I can tell, the screen tap only sets focus, not exposure.

By the way, I have now seen the screen sharing work, but just not all the time.

It would be great if a shutter speed parameter could be added to the iOS app. very much looking forward to it.
