Description
I am using Thaw with Droppy on a Mac Mini M4 with MacOS 26.5.
I prefer to use "Show on hover" to display hidden menubar icons. With this option selected, it works a few times, then no longer works. Also, with "Show on hover" selected the Smart Collapse stops working and the hidden icons remain displayed indefinitely. Restarting Thaw solves these issues. I have had Thaw installed for 24 hours (only a couple of hours of active use) and had to restart it three times. Show on hover will sometimes work if you hover on the left side of the Droppy notch. A similar issue happens with Show on click, where you have to click on either the Thaw icon or to the left of the Droppy notch. This is of course incredibly inconvenient as the icon you want is on the right side of the screen.
Steps to Reproduce
- Enable "Show on hover".
- Show and hide icons several times.
- Wait a few minutes.
- Attempt to show / hide icons. When it stops working on the right side of the notch, try hovering on the left side.
- Do the same with click to show. It will stop working on the right side of the notch, but generally work if clicking on the left side of the notch.
