Request: Don't reload the panel when switching stories unless necessary

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I'm working on a component which has a single Figma frame with all the states in it. All of the stories point to the same frame. But when I switch between stories, which I do often, I have to wait for the Figma frame to reload.

Describe the solution you'd like
Ideally, if the design parameter is exactly the same in the story being closed and the story being opened, the pane would not reload.

Just putting up with it. 😄

I believe this is caused by,

The code is from 2019 (v5.0.0-alpha, the pre-publish era of this addon) and I have totally no idea if it's still necessary. Storybook API / internals changed a lot since then.
