Namespace Scoped option

Is there a way to easily deploy the operator as namespace scoped? Any foreseeable issues with doing so?

That's a good call. We've had that planned for some time already, and I believe it should be available very soon.

Exploring options

• passing flags to the manager
  • --namespaces and --deny-namespace to explicitly specify namespaces to watch/ignore
  • --namespace-selector label selector to watch namespaces with given label=value

Foreseable issue

• Conflicting CRDs as a result from changing the API, unless we could maintain multiple versions of the CRD.
