Use Panoramax to keep note's images

Instead of uploading note's images to a webspace, is creating a Panoramax instance for StreetComplete only an option? Analog to the mapcomplete instance? Is storage for the images the limiting factor? Or is it any legal issue? ATM, the images are deleted once the note is resolved because of?
Or maybe we could use the mapcomplete instance with StreetComplete if we ask the mapcomplete team?

most important: moderation issues, temporary storage linked to OSM notes makes it a less attractive target to abuse

note that multiple image storage service used previously by StreetComplete were shut down, some due to abuse

some of replacements like https://wtf.roflcopter.fr/static/abuse.html were also shut down due to abuse

and framapic was shut down due to lack of resources to maintain it, which also applies here

I am definitely not interested in spending effort on it as a hobby time, and I am not expecting to find grant for that. Especially as expected benefits are tiny. If someone has funds for that - I have much better ideas how to use them for improving OSM or StreetComplete specifically.
