Do you know the layers feature? There is one layer for address. |

TL;DR: It makes sense to me to also allow Address overlay to add addresses (even on addressless)
Well, you can change address of the shop if it is incorrect via Address Overlay, see e.g. here: you just need to click on the lower part (i.e. bottom of blue dot) as to not trigger the quest (opening hours in this case). However, as you noted, you can not add the address to the shop marked as a node if it is missing. You can only add it if the shop is tagged as polygon with To me, it makes sense that one should also be able to add address to:
I'm not sure about opinions that matter more than mine. I suspect the one of the arguments against might be the complexity of building and maintaining yet another list like that... (there is also the "consistency! Address overlay is about about addresses, not shops!" rules; but to that I would argue this is about addresses, but it is very common for shops to have addresses too, and not just buildings -- in many places, there are multiple shops with different addresses in the same physical building) |

I wish I could modify the address numbers, when inputting the opening hours of a shop.
Everytime I confirm, or update the opening hours of a shop, I can't set the address number and it's frustrating: many are wrong, or missing.
You can move the position of the shops around with that very cool drag and drop feature, but then it would be the wrong number, right?
I don't know if I'm missing anything (maybe it can be done), but I wish I could do that.
Anyone else?
