Description
Here is a workbook exported from Airtable where the export of services at 20240807 received updated child (and in some cases, parent) taxonomies.
The new child taxonomies are in the columns on each workbook "Final Child Taxonomy'
We did this as various services appeared to be suboptimally/incorrectly categorized, and we wanted to prepare for the new category pages we are implementing.
Thinking ahead to enabling AI to identify nuance, having the ability to tag services with more than one taxonomy appears important, e.g., the Immigration and legal services referenced below, or Laundry and shower services under the Personal Care category.
Note (in reference to the new category pages):
- The "Health no child" tab contains
- For the https://yourpeer.nyc/mental-health page, filter column I for: text contains "mental-health"
- The "Other no child" tab contains
- For the https://yourpeer.nyc/legal-services page, filter column J Final Child Taxonomies for: text contains "legal"
- NOTE: Many Immigration Services are legal services. Without a way to indicate both taxonomies, to enable more people to find legal services, we should use that category and retain the service name as "Immigration services," or some form thereof.
- For the https://yourpeer.nyc/employment-training page, filter for: text contains "employment" or "job"
- The "Other wchild" tab contains Advocates/Legal services. Filter for: text contains "legal"
NOTE: there is no "Health wchild" tab, as it was not possible to create child taxonomies under Health.
