Please keep resized image size.
It is common in Evernote to add inline images and resize it.

For example here a shrunk an image which otherwise would be too large to look better inline text:

After import, images size are reset to original size:

After doing some import test within Evernote itself, seems it is the width attribute (or height if provided most likely) of en-media element that holds the resized dimension(s):
