ubantu 25.4 works but a small question

Great news is ubantu 25.4 seems to work with new fpv view. the only thing I am struggling with if changing the panel layout with the panel.conf file. any ideas? support files attached.

Works OK here.

Note it is a "hidden" file (.panel.conf) (leading .). Thusly:

However, there is a bug in the last published snapshot in that mwp was failing to create the default file if it didn't exist. Now fixed.
