Force/Moment output for parts of an object with custom points and axis(for moments).

Hi I would like to extract from simulation the local forces acting on a drone with a V-tail, I need to extract the local Moment that is acting on the empennage, the problem is the part is angled and I would like to extract the CMy in Y being local spanwise axis for empenage.

Can I add a new reference frame for moments/forces in SU2 config file and a new point?

Hi, you cannot do it a priori in the config file. You have to extract the values for the surface you are interested in from the forces_breakdown.dat file and then transport/rotate the forces and moments to the point and to the reference system you need.
