Investigate enriching records with additional ORCIDs #415
Description
This ticket is for investigating how we can identify additional ORCID iDs for authors (from anywhere, not just Stanford) so that we can enrich our metadata.
Some of our records contain ORCID iDs for some or all of the authors, but we would like to have ORCID iDs for as many authors as we can. We want to figure out what other sources are available for this information and then sort out how to include those additional ORCID iDs in our records.
For example, if we have a dataset with records from DataCite and Dryad and the DataCite metadata doesn't have ORCID iDs, is it possible the Dryad record has ORCID iDs that we can use to enhance our record?
