Supabase Extension Never Activates

Describe the bug

Installed plugin, started supabase, hit connect, nothing happens. No logs, no errors, just nothing.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior, please provide code snippets or a repository:

1. Install extension.
2. supabase start
3. Click on supabase icon on the left hand side.
4. Activating extension briefly flashes at the bottom left and then nothing.

Expected behavior
