Interpretation of g_sync.p_acc_lp

I followed the description on https://rctclient.readthedocs.io/.
In the section "Mapping the official app to OIDs", g_sync.p_acc_lp is described as positive for charging, negative for discharging the battery.
Analyzing the values of charging, discharging and battery soc over the last month, it seems to me, it is the opposite - negative for charging and positive for discharging.
