Seems weird that the console output does not automatically scroll down upon appending a new line. Is this intended behavior or can I work on a PR to add this feature?

Also, how would someone go about developing the REPL? Is there some tutorial on how I could import a development version? Or can we add a simple example that people could run for development purposes as part of this repo? I'm finding it really hard just to get it up and running.
