Support Gitea/Forgejo

It would be great to have Gitea/Forgejo support in this authenticator, since this comes with a lot of convenience when setting up sveltia-cms installations.

Gitea and Forgejo do not require this as they support client-side PKCE authorization, which doesn’t need a server-side script.

Neither does GitLab, but we support it for backward compatibility with Netlify/Decap CMS.

Only GitHub requires this as it doesn’t yet support client-side PKCE. There is an ongoing discussion here.

Ok, but using OAuth in need to configure the redirect urls. They are different for each project and I may also want different ones for testing environments or domains created by CI. That doesn't work with this setup AFAIK.

We have to update Sveltia CMS itself, but it won’t happen before the 1.0 release.
