Is it possible to draw fec_r/lost/d_err on OpenIPC camera?

Have anyone tried to get those parameters(fec_r/lost/d_err) on OSD, such as msposd's custom message?

The problem is that you got fec/lost/err counters on the GS but you want to render them on the drone. So you need to pass them back to the drone. Why you don't want to use wfb-ng-osd (or https://github.com/OpenIPC/pyosd) on the GS to show all of them as video overlay?

I don't know about pyosd, but wfb-ng-osd is stable during many years

Well, I need to re-clarify my statement. It's not related to osd process.
The issue we observed is that OpenIPC firmware's telemetry_tx process will exit automatically. There is a video give a quick demonstration of the issue. But I didn't see any response on this.

@svpcom Which OpenIPC firmware version you are using? Have you met the issue, which we are experiencing?

@lida2003 I don't use openipc fpv firmware. I use openipc only as generic camera which stream video over othernet to SBC. Air side of wfb-ng is running on SBC (companion computer - RPI, Radxa, etc). OpenIPC FPV use only part of wfb-ng (i.e. - data plane) but implements its own control plane using shell scripts. And these scripts are tuned mostly for fpv drones without mavlink, and it seems they have bugs with mavlink forwarding.

If there is 1Gb switch when using OpenIPC as a generic camera, pulling stream thought ehternet to SBC, then send out.

How do you feel about the latency with/without this ehternet hub/switch?

• 20Mbps video stream

BTW, currently we are using msposd ground station osd mode, which send data through telemetry_tx. It's stable, compared with mavfwd mavlink to gs.
