Standard advertising blurb

In connection with a couple of workshops that I have organized this fall, I ended up creating this standard advertising blurb (a lot of it cribbed from @lexnederbragt, IIRC).

@karinlag @gvwilson I have added my own version of the blurb to the base of Karin's document (leaving hers intact). I just wanted the blurb to be more concrete up front about what we do. Happy also for mine to be picked to pieces ;-) Thanks Karin for getting started. I should have done it myself but I have just been really swamped lately.
