Sweep: sweep plugin overwrite the keymap

Details

I use cmd + n key for new... menu. But Sweep removes that keymap and adds cmd + n to Reject Applied Codebook menu. So I remove the Reject Applied Codebook keymap and add cmd + n key to new... menu, again. But after 3 or 4 hours, Sweep removes that keymap and adds cmd + n to Reject Applied Codebook menu again!

Please do not modify the keymap arbitrarily.

Great point! Tool design is critical for agent reliability.
What worked for us in production:

• Explicit tool descriptions: The more precise your tool descriptions are, the
  better the LLM picks the right tool. We A/B tested and found verbose descriptions
  reduce tool selection errors by ~40%
• Retry with feedback: When a tool call fails, feeding the error back to the agent
  (not just retrying blindly) lets it self-correct
• Rate limiting per tool: Prevents runaway agents from hammering external APIs

We wrap all external calls as typed tools with built-in validation and timeout handling.
