Interesting for 1877-78: yes, it is substantially longer (from January 1877 until January 1878), usually they lasted the spring only

I have some updates about the people: I was at the Library of Parliament last week and digitised biographical information from books about the Estates. I will share the pics with you: the biographies are in structured format. Perhaps we could process them automatically, or at least we can use them later to pick missing information.
