We need a standardized build management process to improve at least the following aspects:
- dependencies to 3rd libraries shouldn't be referenced on the local machine
- better and more inituitive documentation of the build process
- build management and project build process should be easier maintainable by third persons.
Because I expect we don't have to support special workflow features which are heavily to integrate in a based on conventions tool like Maven (sometimes a reason for ant and Ivy) we should give it a try.
