Error loading image. Check if exists and is readable.

We upgraded to Symphony CMS 2.79 and also updated JIT Image Manipulation to version 1.4.7, php version 7.2.17. Unfortunately, pictures won't load anymore. The following error occurs:

Error loading image /FILE. Check it exists and is readable.

The file exists. Anyone any idea how to fix this?
