What you need to know to use SmSn

SmSn lets you edit a graph.

Graph = Passages of writing and arrows connecting them

Each passage is called a note. They can have any length, from one word to who knows how many. Each note has an ID, a set of 16 alphanumeric characters. They are usually provided between ":" marks; they look like this: :axMIDS0EmKQXqMnm:.

The arrows conecting the notes are called edges. Each edge starts at one note and ends at another. If there is an edge from x to y, we say that x is the parent of y.
