Description

The flip-horizontal and flip-vertical icons appear to represent the opposite behaviors. These icons typically align with the direction the object travels rather than the direction of the axis of symmetry.

This could be considered a breaking change for folks relying on the current naming, so I understand waiting for a major to fix it.
