In order to foster an inclusive and welcoming community, we, as contributors and maintainers of the Carrot project, pledge to make participation in our project and community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
- Harassment, offensive comments, or personal attacks.
- Discrimination, derogatory remarks, or unwelcome sexual advances.
- Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, or personal or political attacks.
- Public or private harassment, including on social media.
- Publishing others' private information, such as physical or electronic addresses, without explicit permission.
- Any other conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.
Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that violate this Code of Conduct, or to temporarily or permanently ban any contributor for other behaviors they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
This Code of Conduct applies both within project spaces and in public spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community. Examples of representing a project or community include using an official project email address, posting via an official social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or offline event.
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project team at [email protected]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
Project maintainers are obligated to respect the privacy and security of the reporter of any incident. Details of the incident and individuals involved will be kept confidential, except where required by law or deemed necessary for appropriate actions to be taken.
