Hi Tdex team,
on a Google Pixel 6 running CalyxOS, the Tdex Android app (version 2.0.0) is permanently stuck on the "Hang on, we are almost there!" screen with an infinite loading spinner after attempting to claim a peg-in.
I have successfully completed multiple peg-ins with Tdex on this setup before, so the flow is familiar and usually reliable. With this particular peg-in, right after pressing "Claim" the app switched to the full-screen banner with that message and the spinner has never progressed beyond this point, even after several hours.
When opening the app now, after a few minutes a banner appears saying "Providers updated from TDEX registry!" which suggests some network communication and backend sync is still working. However, despite this update completing, all buttons remain completely unresponsive - specifically the settings button and any other UI elements cannot be interacted with or opened. Basic troubleshooting like turning the phone off/on, rebooting, airplane mode, force stop, and clearing app cache has been tried without effect; the app always returns to this locked state.
The critical issue is that this screen fully blocks navigation to the main wallet view or settings, making it impossible to display or export the seed phrase from within the app. The seed was written down when created, but the physical backup is not accessible due to long-term travel, so recovery on another device is not possible now. The wallet holds a significant amount of bitcoin, being stuck without seed access is a serious problem. Is there any way to escape this state? Deleting app data isn't an option without the seed backup available. Any workaround would be greatly appreciated!
