Snapshot replication

Hi,
Maybe this may be a nice feature.
It is possible implement a second place where copy the snapshots,
for example:
Timeshift do a snapshot that remain on the drive and copy the same snapshot on an external drive (maybe with command btrfs send | btrfs receive) or over ssh on a remote machine?
That because if the drive fail all the snapshot will be lost.
Tell me if I said bullshit.
