Flashing a single card with tt-flash?

Is it possible to flash a single card with tt-flash? Is there an option for that? Thanks!

@kikkiakki we should probably figure out how to add an indicator as I'm not, quickly and offhand, seeing a way to narrow it down (default I would expect to still be all of them)

Yeah, right now default is all of them and there's no argument to flash just one card. I can look into this.

One of the eight cards had different firmware. I was able to get support from Tenstorrent, and they helped me out. I'll leave the solution here for anyone who could use it.

example for flashing specific FW on device 0 on system with 4 cards

mkdir ~/temp
sudo mv /dev/tenstorrent/1 /dev/tenstorrent/2 /dev/tenstorrent/3 ~/temp
tt-flash --fw-tar path-to-fw-bundle --force

now run tt-smi and confirm the new FW version is correct for un-moved card(s)

tt-smi

move devices back

sudo mv ~/temp/1 /dev/tenstorrent/1

repeat for rest of devices
